1 Epigram, Epitaph, Haiku, & Limerick

2 Epigram A pithy, sometimes satiric, couplet or quatrain comprising a single thought or event and often aphoristic with a witty or humorous turn of thought (EPIC/SMALL)

3 Epitaph A brief poem in memory of someone who is deceased, used as, or suitable for a tombstone inscription. More modernly, witty or humorous, and written without the intent of actual funerary use.

4 Haiku "Haiku" is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. The lines rarely rhyme.

6 Limerick A light or humorous form of five verses of which lines one, two and five are three feet, and lines three and four are two feet with a rhyme scheme of aabba Made popular by Edward Lear in 1846
