8.  Results: 1.Participants effectively demonstrated the capability to manage a tsunami event 2.Message transmission objective partially met as only 3 agencies received message: NEMO, Met and Fire. Evaluation needed re: relaying to Police 3.Reviewed and critiqued the Draft Tsunami Contingency Plan 4.Warning dissemination & communication to be enhanced – emergency vehicle sirens and horns, standardisation of messages necessary 5.Public awareness to be enhanced for more effective response 6.Exercise covered by electronic media only 7.Beneficial to include other decision-makers in future exercises e.g. Ministry of Health CARIBEWAVE 11 Tsunami Simulation Exercise
