7. Homework DAILY (M-Th) –20 minutes of Reading –Math POTENTIAL –Science –Social Studies –L.A./Writing Homework is due the day after it is assigned unless noted. Assignments are reviewed before the end of the day so students can complete them independently.

Late Policy Pink Slip (half-sheet) –Student’s responsibility to fill out Pink Slip by the end of the day –Student completes late assignment on their own time, gets a parent signature (on Pink Slip), and attaches it to the late work –10% deduction on earned grade Students have until Friday of that week to turn in missing work (If not, grade becomes a zero)

24. Accelerated Reader (AR) AR is a program where students self select books in their independent reading level, read the books, and take comprehension quizzes online. Students are required to earn a minimum of 10 points for the first and second quarter, and 12 points for the third and fourth quarter. AR is approximately 1/3 of the reading grade each quarter.
