Methodology  Consolidation of the17 Sahelian and West Africa countries CH analysis results carried out in : Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of Guinea, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Chad and Togo.  Analytical framework: CH conceptual and analytical framework based particularly on the four indicators of results of food security (FC, NS, LE and Mortality corroborated contributing factors (hazards-vulnerability, Food availability, accessibility and utilization)

Recommendations To the Countries and partners  Accelerate the process of formalization of the national CH analysis (CH) cells ;  Strengthen the national food and nutritional security monitoring systems ;  Align national surveys on food and nutritional security with CH analysis process and cycles. To CILSS and partners  Continue to strengthen the capacity of national stakeholders on the CH tool ;  Continue advocacy on the CH in all the countries;  Support the countries in the realization of food and nutrition security survey to inform the CH analysis cycles ;  Mobilize additional financial resources to support the development and implementation of the CH tool in the region taking into account issues related to data collection.
