2 The cell theory revisited 1. All living things are composed of cells 2. Cells are the smallest (basic) unit of living things. 3. All cells are produced from existing cells.

3 That third part (‘new cells are produced from existing cells!’), how does that happen? New cells are created through Mitosis. (write this on page 65) Write these questions (7 questions total), then answer them as we watch the video. 1. Why does Mitosis happen (at least 2 reasons)? 2. What does Mitosis create? 3.
