3 The End of WWI By the end of the war German troops were getting weaker. German food and supplies were running low. Germany surrendered on November 11, 1918. The Central Powers lost. The Allied Powers won. Soldiers paraded and people danced in the streets!

4 The Paris Peace Conference ● Leaders from Britain, France, Italy, and the United States met to discuss what the terms of the peace treaty (the Treaty of Versailles) would include. ● Germany was not invited to participate in the six month proceedings. ● France and Great Britain wanted revenge and harsh terms. 5 ● Germany was an angry, humiliated nation, setting the stage for World War II.
