3. Cristiana Andrade I’ve always liked children, so when I knew about my sister’s pregnancies, I loved the idea, and I can’t imagine my life without them. I can’t either imagine my life without Xavier, my boyfriend. I studied, during one year, Sciences and Technologies but I felt lost. So, I decided to change and now I’m studying Footwear and Leather Goods Pattern Making since 2012 and it will be finished in February 2015. I really think that, now, I’m in the right course. So, after that I want to get a CET (Technological Specialization Course) in Design, here, at Design and Footwear Academy and then, go to university to study fashion design. I’m also studying English outside the school because I really like English and I think it’s very important to know other languages besides our mother tongue. I like sports, I’ve practised athletics for 12 years but now I don’t practise anything because, in order to be an athlete we need to be focused on that and now I don’t have the time to do so. In my free time I like being with my family, boyfriend and friends. I also like watching television, surfing the net, reading magazines, listening to music, and whenever possible, travelling. With this project I hope to improve my English, to meet new people, to know about other cultures and to develop myself as a person. My name is Cristiana and I was born on 16 th April 1996. I’m from Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal and I live with my parents, José and Maria de Lurdes, in a flat. I’ve got a sister, who is 29 years old, her name is Cláudia. She is already married. My brother- in- law’s name is Pedro. They have two children, Rodrigo (21 months) and Maria (5 months).

4. Cristiana Oliveira Hi, I’m Cristiana Oliveira and I’m 15 years old. I was born on 30th May, 1998. I live in the district of Aveiro, in Portugal with my family - my mother, Sandra, my father, António, my older sister, Eliana, my younger sister, Leonor, and my dog, Becky. In my free times I like listening to music, watching TV, surf the net and drawing. I’m attending the first year of a of Pattern Making Course at Design and Footwear Academy, in São João da Madeira, with the total duration of three years. I intend to start working in this specific area.

5. Rui Oliveira Greetings, I live at home with my parents, my brother and my pets: my adorable iguana and my four pinscher dogs. I like electronics so I chose Design and Footwear Academy where I am attending to the 3rd Course of Electronics, Automation and Command which will allow me, in a very near future, to attend college (university). I hope that some day I’ll be an Electronic Engineer working in the field of renewable energies for a major company. When I have free time, I go to the gym, where I train muscular hypertrophy. I also do jogging and go out with my friends. My favourite TV channel are: “Discovery Channel” and “Odisseia”. “The Walking Dead”, “Revolution” and “Being Human” are some of the shows I watch. I play a variety of computer games such as League Of Legends, World of Tanks and Shaiya. I’m ambitious, friendly and curious. My name is Rui Oliveira, I’m eighteen years old and I’m from Portugal.
