What’s the end result? / Guided inquiry brings library media specialists and other classroom teachers together to teach curriculum-based units / Students develop a deep understanding of specific content areas and learn skills to apply to the larger world / Students are able to use a variety of sources and strategies to formulate and answer ‘burning questions’ / Students are able to locate, synthesize and share information and knowledge on any subject. / Guided inquiry brings library media specialists and other classroom teachers together to teach curriculum-based units / Students develop a deep understanding of specific content areas and learn skills to apply to the larger world / Students are able to use a variety of sources and strategies to formulate and answer ‘burning questions’ / Students are able to locate, synthesize and share information and knowledge on any subject.
