3 What courses? Nursing: –adult, –children’s, –learning disabilities –mental health Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Radiotherapy and Oncology.

4 Which students? The system of commissioning student numbers will end after 2016/17 entry. There will be no cap on the recruitment for NHS courses. UK and EU fee status Starting after September 2017/18 Or progressing from Foundation year in Health Professions started in 2016/17

9 Scrapping of Grants for English resident students 2016/17 – no maintenance grants for new students from SFE Grants up to £5k for living costs and £5k for fees available from SFW 2016/17 Welsh students’ debt = £27k

10 SFE Maintenance Loan – replacing the NHS Grant, Bursary and small loan £8,200 + £88 per week for courses lasting longer than 30 weeks + £792 Occupational Therapy + £968 Nursing + £1,320 Midwifery £6,904 + £57 per week if living with parents
