17 OUTREACH SPEAKERS FROM UF UFAA Outreach Office creates opportunities for Gator Clubs to receive financial support to bring faculty members to their regions, and will offset a portion of the costs associated with hosting the faculty/staff member who is willing to travel and speak to his/her area of expertise In-State Gator Clubs: UF IFAS (Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences) has a variety of topics and speakers available to Gator Clubs, and each county has their own UF affiliated IFAS office http://ifas.ufl.edu You can contact your local IFAS office directly and do not need approval through UFAA

19 OUTREACH SPEAKERS FROM UF The Club is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the event, including promotion, decision-making, planning, and working the event Once the speaker is selected, the Club will communicate all plans with the speaker (or their representative), including coordinating travel, event timeline, and any special arrangements Subsidy Funding is available to each Gator Club on a first come, first served basis for one subsidy per fiscal year, up to $600 Procedures for requesting funding can be found in the Gator Club and Affiliate Group Leaders Handbook (UFAA Admin Site)
