And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” Created by Oliver Scott

“ Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Created by Oliver Scott

There is Sabbath time In a love relationship time spent with the one loved is very important. During the regular course of things, though we spend some time with the one loved, we are quite busy with other things. It is therefore needful that special and unmolested time be set apart to nourish that relationship. Created by Oliver Scott

That is why the Sabbath is so important. As Christians we are in a love relationship with God. Created by Oliver Scott

In our love relationship with God time spent with Him is very important. Though we spend personal and family time with God, we are often times quite busy. It is needful that special time and unmolested time be spent to nourish our relationship with God. Created by Oliver Scott

This time is Sabbath, the seventh day of each week. Exodus 20: 8-11 – Created by Oliver Scott

“ Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates: For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” Created by Oliver Scott

The rest of your time It is not how well you begin your time. It is how well you end your time. He that endure to the end the same shall be saved. Do not be weary in well doing for in due season you’ll reap if you faint not. Created by Oliver Scott

Romans 13:11-14 – “ And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to [fulfil] the lusts [thereof].” Created by Oliver Scott

Redeeming the time Ephesians 5:16 – “ Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Created by Oliver Scott

One dimension of the judgement has to do with how you spent your time. If your time does not glorify God, then it is a waste of time [the prodigal {wasteful} son]. Created by Oliver Scott
