17 17 Copyright© 2003 Avaya Inc. All rights reserved Site Survey Make sure that the installation site has enough space available. Include measurements of battery cabinets, options, etc. Make sure that the UPS has adequate ventilation. Ensure the UPS can be placed in its final position. Will the UPS components fit through doors? Are there any stairs? Is the floor strong enough? The UPS and its battery cabinets can be heavy so make sure the site has the proper floor loading capacity. Check to see if there is an adequate electrical supply near to the UPS. Check to see if there is an electrical distribution board in the vicinity that can be used for the output of the UPS.
