11 Incoming Kindergarten Skills Listening Fine Motor Skills Speaking and Listening are a important part of our standards. Kindergarten Standard: Students follow agreed-upon rules for discussions and continue a conversation through multiple exchanges. A child’s hand muscles need to work well together. Three fingers: the thumb, index and middle fingers work together to control the pencil in what is called a dynamic tripod pencil grasp.

15 SMUSD recognizes the link between student health and learning and has developed a Wellness Policy for the District that will promote student health through nutrition education, nutrition guidelines and physical education and activity. 20 AM Classes: Gates open at 8:10am. Students may use drive up lane. Classes start at 8:15am Pick up students in front of school at 11:50pm PM Classes: Gates open at 11:45am Students may use drive up lane. Classes start at 11:50am Parents walk to classes to pick up students at 3:25pm Parents remain on outside of the gate during drop off and prior to pick up.

21 Upcoming Events SEES Country Fair April 15-16 th SEES Open House May 19th th 6:00-7:00pm Kindergarten Orientation – August 25 th Students and parents both attend. First Day of School: Monday, August 29th

22 Kindergarten Registration April 21st: – Deadline for Registration for AM Kindergarten lottery April 22nd: – AM Kindergarten Lottery 3:30pm in SEES Library April 25 th : – AM Kindergarten List Posted. Packets are available in our office from 8:00am-4:00pm. Registration taken from 8:30am-3:30pm. If you have registered and will not be attending our school, please notify the front office.
