Name & Info Card On TAMSIAM Due April 17 th by Midnight This is what will be read as you cross the stage Name Phonetic Spelling 3 activities, awards, or honors School & Major Post-Graduation Contact Info

Arrival to the Coliseum Students arrive at 7:00 PM West Tunnel in full regalia (across from Fouts Field) Do not bring anything with you (including purses or cell phones), as you will not have anywhere to store them You will be lined up & alphabetized Follow directions quickly & remain quiet when asked

Parents Parents may not enter at the tunnel entrance They will enter at the main concourse level Parking is available across the street at Fouts Field

Dress You have freedom in what you wear beneath your regalia, but some traditional guidelines to follow are: Men: Dark slacks, Collared Shirt, Tie Women: If you wear a skirt/dress, it shouldn’t hang lower than the robe You may also choose to wear slacks Be sure that you can walk long distances/up & down stairs in your shoes Remember, these pictures will be immortalized & shall forever hang on your parents’ wall…

Cap, Gown, & Tassel The deadline to order online has passed If you do not have a cap, gown, or 2016 tassel, see Meaghan today after seminar

Ceremony You will be lined up in the staging area Marshaled entrance & exit First half of the ceremony: intros, speakers, etc. Second half: Show time!

Seating: Inside 10 seats Guiding by Staff Marshal

Staff Marshals lead you in Direct you into each row There will be a sign on the seat directing you to stop Follow motions

Row-by-row Remain standing until motioned to be seated

Ceremony takes place: introductions, speeches, etc. Best behavior No cell phones

Staff Marshals indicate for your row to stand Follow the leader Marshals will prompt you

Line up for names to be called

Dr. Turnock will give you the name card You will hand the card to Dr. Jones/Mr. Stukel

When they read your name, ascend the stairs Ms. Vann will help guide you

Cross the stage to receive your diploma Shake hands with each individual

The next student will begin crossing the stage You will proceed offstage & directed to have your photo taken

Once you have finished your photo, proceed back to your seat If you are on Side A: Enter from the outside aisle Side B: Enter from the inner aisle A B

Remember which row you are seated in Exact seat order does not matter: take the next available seat Be seated immediately upon return to your seat Diploma in your lap

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the marshals will indicate for you to stand (if you aren’t already)

The marshals will lead you out of the ceremony, sides A & B simultaneously As the last person in the first row passes by, the first person in the second row will follow Etc. AB

Recap At which time are you arriving at the coliseum? Which entrance do you use? Can your parents come in with you here? Should you already be wearing your cap & gown?
