From the General Toolbar, click on the icon to Open SOFY database. Or Top Bar (select)>File Menu >Open SOFY DB - to open an existing SOFY database. c.For this tutorial, any SOFY database can be used, for example the wheelhouse panel from Tutorials 3 & 4: In the file dialog box - goto the directory SOFY3.0/SOFY_MASTER2/DEMOS/Tutorials_Basic/tutor03_Modeledit.sof (Exact path may depend on your local installation.) c Step1. Click >Save Prefs from the dialog box. f. Click >Exit to close the dialog box. Note that you will lose your Key Specification combination upon exiting MSC.SOFY session, if you do not save. g.Clear Key will clear the combination Key assign to that Text Box. Likewise user can create any combination of Keys by selecting F7 - F12 or A - F or G - L or M - R or S - X or Y - Z d Step3. Customize Your Keyboard.

Change image format at bottom of dialog Options> Image Format drop-down selection. d.Nine different image formats are available. e.If you wish to save multiple images in a series with automatic file name incrementing, f.Click the button >Print Series. g.User can select default >Directory and file >Name, (for example “stiffness”) and >Count (starting number, for example “100”). h.Saved images will be named file.bmp for example. i.Each time you save an image the number 100 will be incremented to 101, 102, etc. j.To print: >File >Print, then select either >Canvases or >Window.
