1.  Write down the objective for today and how you will accomplish the objective for today.  What is a value scale?  Draw what you think a value scale is.

3.  Go over what we did last time.  Listen as a group on how to paint a value scale.  Listen as a group on how to grid an image.  Work individually on gradation painting worksheet.  Work individually on gridding worksheet. Reminder: You must always be working!

4.  We learned how to draw a face.  We finished our watercolor jellyfish and spent the rest of class working on our self-portraits.

6.  From the paint in the middle of the table.  Loading your brush.  Put paint onto your pallets.  You should have 5 scoops of white paint on your pallet paper to start.

7.  Load your pallet paper with 1 scoops of black paint and add it to your new 3 scoops of white paint.  Mix well be sure not to get paint past the metal on the brush.

8.  Load your pallet paper with 2 scoops of black paint this time and add it to your new 2 scoops of white paint.  Mix well be sure not to get paint past the metal on the brush.

9.  Load your pallet paper with 3 scoops of black paint this time and add it to your new 1 scoops of white paint.  Mix well be sure not to get paint past the metal on the brush.

10.  Load your pallet paper with 5 scoops of black paint this time.  Mix well be sure not to get paint past the metal on the brush.

11.  1 pallet  1 flat brush  1 cup of water for table  1 container of white and black paint for table  1 worksheet per-person  1 paper towel per-person

12.  You should be  Working on your grayscale painting worksheet.  You may listen to music or looking at a reference image on your phone no other electronic use is allowed.  If you get done early you may start working on a gridding worksheet. Remember you must always be working!
