5 CIPA: Children’s Internet Protection Act All Public School Systems must have a specific technology that blocks or filters Internet access to visual depictions that are obscene, child pornography, and harmful to minors. Let your students know about how you try to stay within copyright guidelines throughout the entire school year! 2.Help your students learn about the value of created works and develop respect for the creators by discussing the importance of such works on the advancement of society. 3.Teach your students to request permission when in doubt about the status of a particular work or the appropriateness of their use of that work.
