4 2. Assessment Organisations VLHORA VLHORA as Quality Assessment Board NVAO (in Dutch: Nederlands-Vlaamse Accreditatieorganisatie) is the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders. The organisation was established by international treaty and it ensures the quality of higher education in the Netherlands and Flanders. 4

9 Evaluation Evaluation of the 6 subjects by the evaluation of the 21 aspects - The 21 aspects are evaluated as follows: - excellent - good - sufficient - not sufficient -The judgement by subject is based on the evaluation of the different aspects of that subject: - sufficient - not sufficient -To obtain a positive judgement each of the 6 subjects must have an evaluation “sufficient”. 9

16 6. Temporary report (october 2010) We receieved the temporary report en could give our remarks. We did receive a sufficient for each of the 6 subjects. 16

17 7. Final report Final report : end of 2010? The final report is published by VLHORA Also the comparative table with the other institutes is published (ranking) 17

18 8. Accreditation (NVAO) Apply for accreditation: 2011 Start accreditation: 2013-2014 Duration of the accreditation: 2017-2018 18

19 9. General Remarks Two years between the writing of the report (ZER) and the final report Financial aspects - the ZER - the organisation of the visitation ( hotel, lunch, diner, transport, the members of the commission and the VLHORA,… ) ( ± € 40 000 only for the visitation) 19
