7 Teacher Feedback I saw great benefits in using Renzulli. As a media specialist I was able to help students complete the learning inventory and work on projects related to their particular learning styles. Once enrolled, students were able to work on various project in Renzulli independently. -Media Specialist We loved the learning inventory at the beginning of Renzulli. It provided us with valuable individualized information on each student. Also, I like the fact that the students were able to find activities themselves. Renzulli gave them a love for finding information and learning (especially our gifted students). -Elementary Language Arts Teacher I used Renzulli last year with all levels of learners. With Renzulli the teacher has the capability to create activities that involve the virtual field trips, luminate sessions for the students, interest activities and prescribed lessons that cater to the academic needs of the student. The journal piece is helpful. The lessons that are connected back to the teacher’s email are wonderful. I can have students take quick snap shot quizzes and their scores come directly to my email. -Middle School Math Teacher Renzulli is a marvelous resource because it takes into account student interest as well as thinking level. After students take the interest inventory, Renzulli makes suggestions about related topics the student may want to study and then offers links to help them do the research. Pictures of their projects, documents created for the projects etc. can be stored allowing students to create on-line portfolios to be used for longitudinal assessment and monitoring progress over time. -Elementary Literacy Coach In Renzulli, I was able to design specific assignments for certain groups of students. I was notified when students started and/or completed assignments. The activities, which the students love, are great, and students were able to compete with one another on some of the games and activities which is a great motivating factor. -Middle School Language Arts Teacher I used Renzulli with my science classes. The students enjoyed using the program and working on the activities I had pulled together on related topics. We also used it for research and to find activities and websites that integrated well with the SMARTboard for whole group work. Some students even worked on topics at home over school breaks. -Fourth Grade Science Teacher I was able to pull Renzulli in to coordinate with my reading lesson. I found supporting stories and video as well as activities for the SMARTboard. We then brainstormed and completed a writing assignment. -Elementary ELL Teacher Renzulli is an excellent way to help manage student portfolios. I also use Renzulli as a communication tool with students. Several of the media literacy elements can be easily addressed using Renzulli. -Middle School Language Arts teacher

8 2010-2111 School Year All gifted students K-12 will have quarterly assignments/projects assigned by the gifted and homeroom teachers. All Special Education students and students who failed the CRCT or HSGT will have assignments/projects assigned by their case and homeroom teachers. Instructional coaches in each building will assist in the implementation of these goals We will again encourage the teachers involved the 21st century grant to utilize this enrichment resource we are able to provide for their after-school program for our students.
