2 Audio Editing software Audio editing software Allows to create and edit audio clips. Also it has features that allow you to add audio effects, like filters and it helps you to split and mirage sound tracks. In addition you can use this software to create your own Mp3.

4 Uses of audio editing software Here are some of the Uses that people can gain from using audio editing software: 1. Restoration - If you have a collection of old vinyl records or tapes that don't sound great on your modern stereo, you can use audio editing software to convert music to a digital format and filter out pops or other unwanted sounds. 2. Edit Home Movies - Aged home movies notoriously have bad sound. With a good editing program, you can create professional sounding audio copies of your old home films. Additionally, you can add music or narration to your films for family reunions or weddings. 3. Personal Recording- Remove noise from personal recordings or create your own mixes.

7 Install The program Step 1: Go to http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/ Go to the main menu > Download > Mixcraft

8 Install The program Step 2: Click Download button to install the free trail of Mixcraft.

9 Install The program Step 3: After clicking a download link, you should see a file download window similar to the screenshot below. Click "Run“ and the software will begin to download and then proceed to install.

11 Toolbar Buttons New Project – Create a new project. Load Project – Load an existing project or template. Save Project – Save the current project. Add Sound – Add a sound to the Project. (MP3, WAV, AIF, OGG or WMA)

12 Toolbar Buttons Redo Last Action & Undo Last Action – Redo an action that you've 'un-done' via Undo. – Undo your last action or command. Burn Audio CD – Burn your project to a standard audio CD. Mix Down – Mix down your project to a single audio file. Zoom Out & Zoom in – Zoom out to view more time. Show Loop Library Shows the Loop Library details area. Zoom In Zoom in for a closer view. 15 Editing. Recording Arming A Track For Recording Arming a track simply means that you are preparing it for recording. When you arm a track, you are instructing the software that you want to record on that track. To arm a track, click the Arm button on a track header. Once a track is armed, it will highlight in red., it shows one device. (Conexant HD Audio).

16 Editing. Recording After arming the track You can easily start recording your sound by clicking on record button in the master bar or start it by the shortcut Ctrl+R Click on play button to go to the video tutorial for more information

18 Editing. Splitting sounds Splitting allows you to take one sound and cut it into two parts without any gaps. Splitting occurs at the caret's position. In this image is show two selected sounds. We've highlighted the caret in red to show its position ( the caret determines the split point ).

Splitting sounds 1.Select the place on the track sound that you want to spilt the sound from 2.Select Split from the Edit menu or the shortcut Ctrl+T 3.Two new sounds are now in place of the original One. 4.The caret will be set based on the snap settings. (If you cannot set the caret to a specific location it is probably because snap is on and you need to turn it off.) Steps

Using Sound effects Global or Master Effects – The global or master effects can be accessed by clicking the Effects button on the time line and are also located on the Project Details Tab. – The global effects are applied to all sound being produced by Mixcraft. Track Effects – To view a specific track's effects, click on the track's FX button. Click on play button to go to the video tutorial for more information
