2 A. TYPE OF WORK Find a description of your job. Tell what you do and how you do it. What is expected of you in this position?

3 B. WORKING CONDITIONS Where do you work? Is it indoors or outdoors? Are there any major hazards or risk in your occupation?

4 C. AVERAGE TIME AT WORK What are your hours like? How much time do you spend outside of these hours working (preparation, extra training, etc.)

5 D. WHO DO YOU WORK FOR? Do you work for yourself or someone else? If for yourself, what do you have to do to open this business?

6 E. REQUIRED TRAINING What level of education is required for your job? Is there any special training? Do you have to continue your education after you get the job?

7 F. JOB OPPORTUNITIES How easy is it to find a job in your field? Are you required to move for your job? How likely do you think it is that your job will exist in 20 years? How about 50 years?

8 G. SALARY RANGE What are your average earnings? Yearly earnings? (work with the median) Is there any opportunity to increase this?

9 H. EXTRA BENEFITS What additional benefits are offered? ANY INSURANCE PAID LEAVE OR TIME OFF SICK LEAVE COMPANY VEHICAL ETC.

10 CREATING A BUDGET Now that you know all about your job and how much money you have to spend, the next step is to spend the money. BEWARE!! You only have a limited amount of money, so make sure to stay within your limits.

11 ESSENTIAL PARTS To create an effective budget, first you have to cover your needs. Food and Water (Be realistic) Housing Transportation (you have to get to work) Clothing (once again, be realistic) Utility Bills
