4 Some Basics about the Wastewater System Comprised of Wastewater Collection System Pipelines, Manholes, Lift Stations, and Treatment Plant WWTP is a 0.66 million gallon per day facility that is classified as a Complete Mix Activated Sludge plant WWTP operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week WWTP is a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) facility Facility is currently performing per original design Working to improve the WW Collection System Also responsible for Restaurant Grease Trap Oversight

7 Water Treatment Plant - $100,000 Replacement of old valves, pumps, and motors on original three treatment trains (Units 1, 2, & 3) Updating of electrical equipment to current codes General facility wide cleaning and facelift New chemical metering pumps Re-establishment of the solids processing and effluent recycling system (recovers ~ 250,000 gallons per day) Computer & telemetry upgrades County compliance issues remediation

9 Wastewater Treatment Plant – $70,000 New filter discs for Kruger tertiary filtration units Upgrade sludge processing polymer feed system Rehabilitation of two wastewater effluent pumps Purchase of a spare WAS pump for emergency backup General site cleanup for relocation of entire utility operations group and public works department to one common staging area Ongoing monitoring of Odor Control Equipment Continued Preventative Maintenance Program

15 Ocotillo Water Pump Stations - $23,000 Demolish old Ocotillo 1 Pump Station Install new 8” diameter spool piece Install 3 new Variable Frequency Drive Units at Ocotillo 2 facility Install 4 new digital Mercoid units at Ocotillo 2 facility Install 3 new check valves at Ocotillo 2 facility Purchase a spare pressure transducer assembly
