2 2 Corinthians 2:11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

3 Ephesians 6:10-13 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

4 1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

5 Render you worthless in the church. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. John 15:2,8

6 Render you worthless in the church. How does he do that? 1. Keep you ignorant of your duty. 2. Covetous 3. Too busy 4. Excuses

7 He wants to keep you out of the church Benefits received in the church. praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:47

8 He wants to keep you out of the church Benefits received in the church. 28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:28

9 He wants to keep you out of the church Benefits received in the church. 22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. Hebrews 9:22

10 He wants to keep you out of the church Benefits received in the church. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, Ephesians 1:3

11 He wants to keep you out of the church Mission of the Church to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, Ephesians 3:10

12 He wants to keep you out of the church Mission of the Church And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20

13 He wants to keep you out of the church Mission of the Church Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. James 1:27

14 He wants to keep you out of the church Mission of the Church Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians 3:20

15 He wants to keep you out of the church Mission of the Church And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17

16 He wants to keep you out of the church How does He keep people out? 1. Prejudice 2. “One church good as another.” 3. “Jesus not the church” 4. Faith only saves. 5. Baptism not necessary. 6. Sprinkling and pouring acceptable. 7. Procrastination

17 Get you back into the World Demas went back. for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica—Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia. 2 Timothy 4:10

18 Get you back into the World Love not the world You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. James 4:3

19 Get you back into the World How He works 1. No harm in some sinful activities 2. Pleasure of the world in Christianity. 3. Evil Companions Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” 1 Corinthians 15:33

20 Conclusion 1.Satan is crafty and can ruin you. lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices. - 2 Corinthians 2:11

21 Conclusion 2. You can overcome him. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13
