Judaism tells Jews what they should and should not do as it is written in the Torah. God made a covenant with Moses and the Jews who were fleeing Egypt. In the covenant God promised to guide his people if they followed the law of the ten commandments. Prophets were certain religious teachers that the Jews believed were sent by God to serve as his voice to his people. The torah is the first 5 books of the Bible.
