3. 15 enthusiastic students worked to identify the issues at a community level. Reduce accidents on the road especially in the school area and minimize risk factors! Take responsible actions every school day. Last 5 minutes everyday lessons are for Road Safety. Installing solar traffic signs thanks to the support of the Municipality. Producing a transparent and a watchwoman–model warning drivers to slow down in front of the school. Taking part in Safety roads competition at district level.

4. Team Tasks Police – make sure everything is done on time and everything for the initiatives is available, they are the mentors. Team Honey Makers – the bees in out group, they are doing the actual work and they are the heart of the projects.

5. We 15 students from Nesho Bonchev High School and our English teacher Sylvia Bobekova gathered together as a team and discussed which was going to be our main issue on the road to solve. As a community our town went through a tragedy when the little Pepi was accidently killed on the road last year by an irresponsible driver. So we decided to focus on preventing such tragedies to happen again. We wanted to make sure our kids are safe when doing the activities they love - bike riding. Therefore we fostered non-governmental organisations and institutions in Panagyurishte Municipality to help us out, be part of our intentions and make our ides a reality. After all our main theme turned out to be Safety Roads For Our Children. We shared our ideas and our progress every Friday after the classes. In a short time we came up with original ides which we believe made us all walk safely on the walkways.

6. We discussed different topics about road safety and sustainable mobility. The main themes: - Being careful when we are on the road no matter whether we are travelling by car, bicycle or on foot. - Crossing the road, especially when it is winter, it is slippery and the vehicles or pedestrians are dangerous (survey). - Avoiding accidents and trying to make a difference – spreading our film, an exhibition, lectures and presentations, special trainings among students and citizens.

7. Leaflets and stickers – information everyone needs to know. November - Bicycles competition in the park; Competition between schools “Keep the child on the road” – the smallest members of our initiative took part and learned how to avoid accidents on the road. A transparent "Your children cross here" (in front of the school) – Can be seen from a big distance so drivers know kids are close around. Thanks to the big effort made by students in Nesho Bonchev High School. A model-policewoman/ watchwoman – We wanted to draw drivers attention to the idea to slow down when they are close to the school full of children so we made this original doll to help us fulfill our purpose.

8. The first solar light-diods traffic signs in Panagyurishte were installed in front of "Nesho Bonchev" High School – again showing the drivers that they need to pay attention around the school areas, kindergartens, playgrounds and walkways. Thanks to the help of the vice district Manager and the chairman of Pazardzhik District.
