2. Reminders! Have you checked in with your VP of Membership? When you plan to be absent for any reason (excused or not) please give WRITTEN notification to your VP of Membership so that it will be noted in the minutes. We meet once a month (first Thursday of every month) in the Auditorium at 3:40. (8 out of 9 meetings are MANDATORY. Failure to attend will result in dismissal.) Leave your area better than you found it at the end of the meeting.

4. Money All money MUST be turned in no later than 1:00. Turn in money to Mrs. Davis (Rm 107) or Ms. Williams (Rm 408) Do not interrupt sponsors during class to turn in money.

5. Peach Skin Sheets If you did not purchase a set of sheets then you are required to make a $20 donation. If you have not done so, you need to do so immediately! If you sold more than one set of sheets you will receive a $20 credit towards convention for each additional set.

Chocolate Fundraiser Each member is required to complete one of the following fundraising options: Sell one box of chocolate ($60—no coins accepted) OR Make a $30 donation to the Beta Club (equivalent to the profit made from selling a $60 box.) Donation money due before 12/18/2015 Pick up chocolate: 12/18/2015 Turn in chocolate money: 01/5-6/2015 If you commit to sell more than one box, that money can be used to pay toward convention.

Service Projects Pumpkin Pies Grace United Methodist –MONDAY, NOV 23 4:00 in Wesley Center and you must bring your choice of ONE of the following items: Ground Cloves, Ground cinnamon, Ground Ginger, or a can of RediWhip Christmas Dinner at Grace Baptist Church - They need us to make Need table arrangements Optimist Club Christmas Trees SET UP at the lot Saturday Nov, 21st @ 9am. UNLOAD TREES Nov, 23 rd or 24 th @ 6! BE SURE TO BRING GLOVES AND WEAR GRUNGY CLOTHES DUE TO SAP ON TREES Teacher Cadet Christmas Child Program We will have two children, a boy and a girl, age TBA To receive service credit you must bring items (spend minimum $10) for the Beta Club children ONLY Only one service project per Beta Money from Peach Skin Sheets will be used to purchase larger items

11. State Convention State Candidate: Sarah Bigger “ Dream BIG! Vote Bigger!” Friday February 12 th -Sunday February 14 th, 2016 Cost: $125 total $100 remainder due by TODAY Includes, T-shirts, buses, dinner on Friday, entry fees, hotels, snacks, etc.

12. Convention More information on room sign ups to come, listen for announcements! If you have already paid to go to convention and you find out you can not attend then please let Mrs. Davis know ASAP. If anyone wants to go to convention that did not sign up, see Mrs. Davis ASAP!

13. Individual Competitions Sign up on the poster in the LOBBY. After today it will be behind the door of Room 107 if you would like to participate in an individual competition. There is one student chosen for 11 th -12 th grade and then one 10 th grade student to compete per academic ( Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Spelling ) category.
