2 Schools for Health in Europe The SHE network has a strong foundation in developing and sustaining health promoting schools through its precursor the European Network of Health Promoting Schools (ENHPS) which was founded in 1991 by WHO Euro, the Council of Europe and the European Union. 3 SHE The SHE network uses a positive concept of health and well-being and acknowledges the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
