Presentation of photography

Inventor of photography Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre - French painter, stage designer. In 1839 he was proclaimed inventor of photography, although in the same year, his method of taking pictures presented another researcher, William Fox Talbot. The technique developed by Daguerre was called by his name daguerreotypy. It allowed for the implementation of unique prints on the metal plate. The resulting image was characterized by a high resolution.

Photography Photography is the result of combining different inventions in one. Long before the first permanent photograph of Ibn al- Haytham invented the camera obscura, Albert the Great in Lauingen discovered silver nitrate, and Georges Fabricius invented the silver chloride. Daniel Barbaro described the aperture in 1568. Wilhelm Homberg described in 1694 as the light dims certain chemicals.

First photos The first permanent photograph was an image produced in 1826 by Joseph Nicéphore Niepce-, French inventor. The image was formed on the polished zinc plate coated with asphalt Syrian. Production of this image required an eight-hour exposure on a sunny day. Bitumen hardens upon exposure to light.

The uncured material can be washed away lavender oil, obtained in this way can be painted negative lithography and imprint to the paper to print. Later Niépce experimented with silver compounds based on a Johann Heinrich Schultz discovery. This discovery was based on the fact that silver chloride is mixed with chalk darkens when exposed to light.

During the Industrial Revolution, the daguerreotype has become a popular way of doing portraiture in the middle classes. Daguerrotypist Augustus Washington took from 50 cents to $ 10 for a print. However Daguerreotype prints were very gentle and does not allow copying. Photographers pushed for chemists to you perfected the process of making prints on a larger scale and much cheaper, which in turn brought them to the process of Talbot.

Modern photographic process was made during the first twenty years by upgrading and improvement of previously known processes. In 1884, George Eastman invented the dry gel, which required the paper or film, so that photographers do not have to carry photographic plates and other heavy chemicals. In June 1888 years Eastman Kodak camera entered the market with the slogan: "You press the button, we do the rest". 1901 was the year when photography began to be available to amateurs.

Color photography Although color photography was developed in the nineteenth century, however, the initial experiments failed to prevent color fading. Until about 70 years Nineteenth century emulsions available were not 'sensitive' to light green and red. The first permanent color photo was taken in 1861 by the Scottish physicist James Clerk Maxwell. Several candidates for patent production methods were devised photos in 1862 by two French inventors, working separately - Louis Ducos du Hauron and Charles Crosa.

Nowadays It consists of fixation image in digital form, and not, as in traditional photography, in the photosensitive chemical medium. To take pictures, unlike traditional photography, is of a different design equipment: digital camera. Digital cameras are often bought in 2005 from analog and have features not found in traditional cameras, such as short movies. Other devices, such as mobile phones, have also often built small digital cameras.
