8.  This week in addition to meeting with your Divisional Co-ordinator / Advisor, you will meet your supervisors, other PhD students and Faculty.  An important opportunity to get to know people in your immediate research network.  Each Division has various subject groups and research centres – these will host research seminars and activities which are a key to the research environment in MBS. 9.  Introduction to the Research Training Programme (RTP).  A first opportunity to find out about the details of the research training programme to inform the discussion of your training needs with your supervisor.  Tier 4 Visa requirements – visit the Doctoral Programmes office [Harold Hankins 9.24] on Tuesday afternoon. 10.  On Wednesday and Thursday I will cover all the aspects of doing a PhD.  We will cover the entire 3 years journey over those 2 days!  At lunch you will get chance to network with 2 nd and 3 rd year students. Speed PhD
