3. It is located in the Hawaiian Country in the USA. 19ºN 155ºW

4. It was established in 1916. A violent eruption caught a party of warriors that left footprints in the lava. The first visitors were Willian Ellis and Asa Thurston.

5. There are two important active volcanoes: KiIauea and Mauna Loa. You can see dramatic volcanic landscapes. It includes 505.36 square miles of land. The main entrance is from the Hawaii Belt Road.

6. It was designated as an International Biosphere Reserve in 1980 and a World Heritage Site in 1987. There are museums with historical documents from volcanoes and art galleries. It is also important because there are very important volcanoes for history.

7. You can stay there in hotels and there are also really good restaurants. There is an area where you can do hiking or camping with beautifull views.

8. Because it has beautifull things such as volcanoes that has been there for thousand of years. We have to preserve the natural environments. Scientists continue studying and discovering new things about volcanoes and if we don’t have it they couldn’t do it.
