3. Context - RAINBOW. CAPITAL. WARSAW. CITY CENTRE. POLAND. 2012-2013 The celebration of Polish Independence Day. The Rainbow was burned on November 11, 2013 during the national holiday March of Independence. Unrest occurred during the march. This is the fifth arson of the Rainbow since 2012. However, the Rainbow was rebuilt by the city authorities. "Rainbow" - an art installation by Polish artist and contemporary performer Julita Wojcik at the roundabout in the middle of the Square of the Savior in Warsaw. The installation was established in June 2012 and is ongoing.
