Hardware Configuration  Unit has to be connected to network and powered.  Computer has to be connected to the same network.  Ipconfig command from dos prompt shows current computer IP.  Monitor utility will help to find unit on the network and identify it’s current IP address.  In order to have TCP communication it is necessary to have computer and device server in the same subnet or in case device is in different network segment- appropriate gateway and network configuration.
