4 Cacao means ‘Food of the Gods’ The cacao tree grows to about 15 to 25 feet. Fruits and flowers of a cacao tree grows from its trunk. The fruit is called a pod. When the pod is young, it is green. When it is ripe, it is yellow, red, or purple. Cacao

5 Brazil Nut Tree A brazil nut tree is over 160 feet tall. Brazil nut trees are the tallest trees in the Amazon rainforest. People eat brazil nuts. Brazil nut oil is made into natural beauty products.

6 Jaguars Jaguars are the biggest cat in South America. They have orange fur and black spots. They can weigh between 45 to 113 kilograms. Jaguars eat crocodiles, monkeys, turtles, eggs, frogs, fish and anything else they can catch. Jaguars love water. They swim, bathe, play and hunt for fish in rivers and pools.

7 Blue and Yellow Macaws Blue and yellow macaws known as the blue and gold macaws are large South American parrots. They have yellow crest with bright turquoise-blue wings, tail and feathers. The top of the head is green. Their faces are white and black. They have a large and powerful black beak. They can make the same sound and repeat words.

8 Anaconda Anacondas are giant reptiles. They live up to 30 years. They can grow to over 3 feet and weight to 550 pounds. Anacondas eat fish, caimans, birds, ducks and turtles. Anacondas are excellent swimmer.
