3. “A man is usually more careful of his money than he is of his principles.” When it comes to money, people tend to set aside their morals and values. Instead of doing what is morally right, one might not abide by one of their standards when it comes to making money. Donald Trump is a great example of one who is more worried about his dollar value than his moral standards.

4. “He thought it happier to be dead, to die for beauty, than live for bread.” This quotes explains the importance of beauty over life in the eyes of certain people. Anna Nicole Smith or Dr. Atkins hold true to this statement. Anna was more or so worried about what she looked like. Dr. Atkins even died from his own diet.

5. “Beauty without expression is boring.” Even the most beautiful person in the nation would not hold any interest if he or she did not have a good personality. The ex-Miss America was very beautiful indeed. She definitely was not boring because her vivacious personality got her kicked out of the Trump Tower.

6. “Nothing is fair or good alone.” It is more efficient to do things with another person rather than by yourself. Jennifer Aniston is twice as popular now that she is with Vince Vaughn, who is just as well known as herself.

7. “America is another name for opportunity.” America is a great opportunity to start a new life and be successful. In the 1900’s immigration was very chaotic for America. Germans, Irish, Scottish, and other foreigners came to America for a new chance to have a successful career.

8. “Commit a crime, and the earth is made of glass.” Once you have committed a crime it is stuck on your permanent record, and you have to be careful of everything you do proceeding your crime. Any criminal that has been released from prison will have to be careful in all their other decisions in life.

9. “Every artist was first an amateur.” Every professional was once just an aspiring athlete, singer, or etc. Michael Jordan started out playing basketball as a young kid. He was any other student on the high school basketball team.

10. “Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.” This quote means that everyone should learn to be more patient. Mrs. Kasper is a very patient person.

11. “Genius always finds itself a century too early.” Geniuses at the time are mistaken for antagonists. Albert Einstein was considered mentally retarded during his time period.

12. “It is not length of life, but depth of life.” Your life is not measure by how many days you have seen but by how much you have impacted the people around you. No matter how old Oprah lives till, she will forever be remember because of her generous efforts to help others.

14. “Any fool can make a rule, and any fool will mind it.” Anyone can make a rule or law and there will be many people stupid enough to follow it.

15. “As if you could kill time without injuring eternity.” Everything you do or don’t do will affect your future. If you kill someone the repercussions of that action will forever change the course of the future.

16. “Do not hire a man who does your work for money, but him who does it for love of it.” Don’t hire someone who does not love their job and what they do. If they love it, they will make sure to do it right. But if they do not love it and are just doing it for money they will not do as good a job.

17. “Every man is the builder of a temple called his body.” People should respect and take care of their bodies. People that do drugs or are anorexic are not taking care of their bodies.

18. “I stand in awe of my body.” Everyone should be happy with themselves and not hate the way they look. We should love the bodies that we have basically given ourselves.

19. “If you would convince a man that he does wrong, do right. But do not care to convince him. Men will believe what they see. Let them see.” Lead by example for others to see. Instead of convincing them through words, convince them through your actions.

20. “In wildness is the preservation of the world.” The untouched, pureness of the wild is the preservation of the world in its natural state.

21. “It is never too late to give up your prejudices.” It is never too late to realize that you are wrong.

22. “Men have become the tools of their tools.” We have come to the point where our technology is smarter than us and does our work faster than us. Now all we have to do is repair them and make new tools.

23. “My friend is one... who take me for what I am.” Real friends should not be judgmental and should accept you for who you are.
