6. Project Objectives Increase student motivation and interest in sharing what they have learned Expand student participation, development, and presentation of content knowledge Develop understanding of multimedia technology and be able to apply it effectively

Definition of Terms Digital Story Telling: A student created story that incorporates multi media use of images, voice, written text, and music into a concise narrative to be shared electronically. 21 st Century learning skills: in addition to traditional core content skills, thinking, problem-solving, information, collaboration, and communication skills. Digital Native: refers to a generation born into the digital technology era and through interacting with digital technology from an early age, has a greater understanding of its concepts. Digital Immigrant: an individual who was introduced to digital technology later in their life. ICT- Information and Communication Technologies.
