The African Beach Artist name: Mariano Fortuny Title: African Beach Date of composition:1867 Artistic Era: Impressionism

The African Beach I mainly like this picture for mainly 2 reasons. One reason I love this picture is because I grew up on the beach and seeing this picture makes me feel at home from the place where I grew up, Florida. Secondly, this picture is beautiful. I love how it just is so simple. There is nothing hectic going on in it at all what so ever.

Frozen Assets Title: Frozen Assets Artist Name: Rivera Date of Composition: 1931 Artistic Era: Dada and Surrealism

Frozen Assets I like this picture because when I was younger I practically grew up in the city. We lived in Florida and we would visit pretty much once a month. I love this picture because as I take it, it shows the different levels of the city and how to get to the top of the world.

The Garden Of Montmarte Title: The Garden of Montmarte Artist: Rusinol Date of composition: 1887 Artistic Era: Realism

The Garden of Montmarte I don’t really enjoy art but I really like this piece. One reason I like this because it seriously looks like it was a real life photo taken. This artist is very talented because it is beautiful. Secondly, I like this because even though it says it’s a garden there arent flowers or pretty colors. A garden can be pretty without those things.
