Biomes are… Large geographical regions with similar climates and ecosystems.

They include… Ice sheet Tundra Taiga (boreal forest) Mediterranean forest Coniferous forest Temperate prairies (dry steppe / grasslands) Tropical rainforest Wetland Savannas Desert Mangrove forest Coral reef Etc.
