3 All the Singles Ladies… At this time, women were starting to work but not as easily if you were married. Married=Baby, Baby=Leave work

4 Things Look Different… People began moving from rural areas to cities and suburbs. Why? Shift in Demographics, (stats that describe a population.)

5 The Spirit of St. Louis… May 20 th, 1927 went from New York to Paris. Trip took 33 ½ hours. National Hero

6 The Great Bambino… George Herman “Babe” Ruth (the Sultan of Swat.) Record-Setting baseball player for the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.

7 Mass Media Print and Broadcast methods of communicating information to large numbers of people. Movies, Newspapers, Radio Why was this important?
