2 About Simon Peter He was said to be a slender man of middle size with a thick curly black beard and thin eyebrows. Born in Bethsaida in Galilee to a fisherman by the name of Jona Peter.

3 Fisherman Simon Peter was a fisherman.

4 Simon Peter walks on water Simon Peter tried to walk on water after he saw Jesus do it and at first he was able to but he began to sink because he had little faith.

5 The First Denial Simon Peter was walking with Jesus and Jesus went in to the court yard of the high priest. Simon Peter waited at the door but the high priest recognized Simon Peter and told the door girl to bring him in and then the door girl asked Simon Peter if he was a Disciple and he answered no.

6 Second Denial A little later someone else saw him and said You also are one of them. Peter answered I do not know what you are talking about.

7 Third Denial About An hour later another man said certainly this man was with him for he is a Gallilean. Peter replied man I don't know what you are talking about. Just as he was speaking the rooster crowed. The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him. Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times, and he went outside and wept.

8 Feed My Sheep Jesus told Simon Peter feed my sheep and Simon Peter knows what he is saying. Jesus had once described the crowds as harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd. So Simon Peter answered Yes I love you Jesus says Peter clearly lifting his eyes to meet Jesus.

9 Feed My Sheep (part 2) Jesus then said then feed my sheep, Simon Peter, I need you to feed my sheep. Yes, Lord of course I will, whispers Simon Peter, as his eyes flood with tears. You can count on me.

10 Simon Peters Family He and his brother Andrew became partners with Zebedee and his sons James and John in a fishing business.

17 Cutting off the servants ear Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, took it out and gave the high priest's servant a blow, cutting off his right eat. The servant's name was Malchus.

18 Killed upside down A denial when Simon Peter had gone out to the gateway, away from the firelight,... say that the Romans crucified Peter upside down. He had said he was not worthy of dying like Jesus so he was like on a cross upside down.
