7 Day 2 Culture: 1.Answer the Essential Question from the day before in your Cornell notes on the summary section. 2. In the section of your notes “The Building Blocks of Culture” Draw a symbol in the margin of your Cornell notes for each of the subheadings : 1. Distinguish one culture from another, 2.Unifidy or Divide a society 3.Change over time. Discussion

8 Culture and Language: Discussion how is language a symbol? Computer Google Docs: Share Document Enter email addresses into Winnie’s Doc Task: Part 1: Get on a computer and post to the Google Doc examples “ Why language is a symbol” Explain in our own words after the link or picture. Part 2: Look at two other students posts and make a comment on each. The comment should further discussion not just (yep, that’s cool/awful).
