3. Invention: M&M’s M&M's® began production in New York in 1941. In 1954, M&M's® peanut chocolate candies were introduced. In that same year, M&M's® were introduced to talking characters. M&M's® are one of the only candies that melt in your mouth, not in your hands because of its candy coating on the outside and chocolate on the inside.

4. Inventor: Mars Mars was born on March 21 st, 1904 in Minnesota. He was raised in Canada after his parents divorced. Mars went to the university of California and later transferred to Yale University. He completed his degree in industrial engineering in 1928. Mars worked for Nestle® and Tobler® to learn more about candy businesses. Mars died on July 1 st, 1999.
