COOP: Consider Alternate work locations during Emergency SHELTERS: Locate Potential Emergency Shelters for Displaced Residents PRACTICE: COMMUNICATION with Evacuation team PREPARE request for assistance document & practice delivering it SHARE FLOOD SAFETY TOOLS: Share information with residents about levee safety Risk Communication, Shared Responsibility of Local Agencies and Individuals

The leveed area is the largest area that could get wet from waters breaching or overtopping the levee. A map of this can be found for all Corps built levees in the LA District (LA, Ballona, Upper Rio Hondo, San Gabriel Rivers, Coyote and Compton Creeks) at http://www.spl.usace.army.mil/Missions/ CivilWorks/LeveeSafetyProgram.aspx You may want to consider what may need to be evacuated due to a levee breach or overtopping. Corps & County will provide technical information as the event progresses, but we are NOT your evacuation notification source.
