3 Constructing Angles  Notice ray MN and ray MR  They share a common endpoint M  When two rays share a common endpoint an angle occurs  There are three ways to name an angle:  Use the angle symbol and a number. < 1  Use the angle symbol and the vertex of the angle. < M  Use the angle symbol and three points on the angle. The first point is on one side of the angle, the second point is the vertex, and the third point is on the other side of the angle. < NMR
