State of play on the use of Monitoring Fact Sheets for MSFD Art. 11 Reporting in Germany DIKE 10 29./30. September 2014, Brussels

Dr. Hans-Christian Reimers, State Agency for Agricultute and Environment Schleswig-Holstein, Germany2 Monitoring Programmes For the monitoring programmes, we make use of the web forms

Sub-Programmes  For the sub-programmes, we make use of a national website and our web-based monitoring manual   In the database for the monitoring manual, we added the missing fields for the Art. 11 reporting Dr. Hans-Christian Reimers, State Agency for Agricultute and Environment Schleswig-Holstein, Germany3

Sub-Programmes A XML export interface has been developed for the complete set of sub-programme questions. Dr. Hans-Christian Reimers, State Agency for Agricultute and Environment Schleswig-Holstein, Germany4 XML

Sub-Programmes  In addition to the web forms, all information of each sub-programme is available via a link in field Q4l Dr. Hans-Christian Reimers, State Agency for Agricultute and Environment Schleswig-Holstein, Germany5 http://mhb.meeresschutz.info/de/ monitoring/uebersicht.html

Dr. Hans-Christian Reimers, State Agency for Agricultute and Environment Schleswig-Holstein, Germany6 Sub-Programmes – detailed information In field Q4l we added also a link to detailed information in the fact sheets of our monitoring manual

National and regional sub-programmes Dr. Hans-Christian Reimers, State Agency for Agricultute and Environment Schleswig-Holstein, Germany7 Sub-programme fact sheets have been developed for national and regional level In many fields, the information is already consistent, but for the complete matching a lot of detailed work is necessary.

Dr. Hans-Christian Reimers, State Agency for Agricultute and Environment Schleswig-Holstein, Germany8 Problems and questions  The web forms on the EIONET website have been changed frequently in the last weeks –fields have been removed from time to time –selection lists have been modified (Q9b: plaintext to code)  but the Reportnet Helpdesk reacted immediately  The changes have not been disclosed. In case of a change, please note this on the website or send an email to all reporters.  Most of these changes lead to inconsistencies in the information provided by the XML upload.  Such changes should not happen after the official release of the web forms.  The information on the INSPIRE standards can have far-reaching consequences (we discussed it at the TG meeting), because not all standards (data specifications) have been fully developed. How should this be handled?Strict or rather noncommittal?  The information on the INSPIRE standards can have far-reaching consequences (we discussed it at the TG meeting), because not all standards (data specifications) have been fully developed.
