2 Audiovisual Services 1.Mostly serve the teacher 2.Provide only technical services only (Maintenance, production, circulation, classification) 3.Have two administrative depts.: Maintenance and media services/production 4.Shown services w/ direct user/technician interaction 5.Staff composed of administrators and technicians 6.Students served indirectly through AV room and/or the teacher 7.Architecturally, production/technical support offices are located within the center or near the classrooms

3 Education Technology Center 1.Mostly serves the teacher 2.Provides technical services and instructional development 3.Has three administrative depts.: Maintenance and media services/production/instructional development 4.Shown services w/ direct user/technician/instructional developer interaction 5.Staff composed of administrators, technicians and instructional developers 6.Students served indirectly through AV room and/or the teacher 7.Architecturally, production/technical and instructional support offices are located within the center or near the classrooms

4 Learning Resources Center 1.Serves learners (teacher/student/individuals) 2.Provides technical services and instructional development 3.Has three administrative depts.: Maintenance and media services/production/instructional development 4.Hidden services w/ direct user/librarian interaction 5.Staff composed of administrators, technicians (librarian, AV and computer tech), and instructional developers 6.Students served directly through AV room where all resources, software, and materials are collected 7.Architecturally, production/technical and instructional support offices are located outside the center or near the classrooms; users could view the resources in cabins and cubical prepared for this purpose

5 School Library 1.Mostly serves the student 2.Instructional books/materials circulation 3.Staff are only librarians 4.No many administrative divisions 5.No production services; but acquisition and classification only 6.Directly borrow books/materials from the librarian 7.Provides services directly in its hall 8.Architecturally, its room comprised shelves to index material/books with a reading desks and group viewing facility
