2 Meetings held Plenary meeting :Between May 8 th and 12 th at Berlin, Germany. –Restructuring of TC215 WG1:Data Structure WG2:Data Messaging –Two breakouts: Architecture and Methodology –Architecture lead by Gary Dickinson –Methodology lead by Tom Marley WG3:Semantic Content WG4:Security WG5:Health Cards WG6:Pharmacy and Medication Business WG7:Devices WG8:Business Requirements for Electronic Health Records COPOLCO Task Force E-HEALTH Task Force

3 Meeting held-to be continued Plenary Meeting –Resolutions related to DICOM The ISO/TC215 approve the WG 2 recommendation that the ISO/TC215 Secretariat forward to the ISO Central Secretariat “ Health informatics - Digital imaging – DICOM Communications, workflow and data management ” for DIS ballot. The ISO/TC215 Secretariat pursue discussions with “ Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise ” (IHE) with a view to IHE requesting a formal liaison with TC 215

4 Meeting held-to be continued Joint Working Group Meeting : Between September 21 st and 23 rd at Hamamatsu, Japan –There was no discussion about imaging only subjects. –Architecture breakout discussed “ Telehealth Interoperability ” which was lead by Canada. They would try to incorporate DICOM, HL7, and IHE into Teleradiology interoperability at the phase 3. They reviewed Canadian Infoway Requirements Document that described about the integration of DICOM, HK7, IHE, ITU, and other standards,

5 Meeting held-to be continued Joint Working Group Meeting at Hamamatsu –Methodology breakout discussed “ Data Types ” which was lead by Tom Marley, UK. They needed to capture requirements and scope, and inputs from DICOM. –Architecture breakout discussed IHE Integration Profiles and resolved; (next slides)
