1 Away In A Manger (Kirkpatrick) VERSE 1 Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, The little Lord Jesus Laid down His sweet head. The stars in the night sky Looked down where He lay, The little Lord Jesus, Asleep on the hay.

2 VERSE 2 The cattle are lowing, the Baby awakes, The little Lord Jesus, Some crying He makes. He is the Messiah, the King over all, Our God in the flesh, Though was born in a stall.

3 VERSE 3 The little Lord Jesus, grew into a man, To die for us sinners, to reconcile Man. We praise You, Lord Jesus, Alive from the grave, You've honoured Your Father, And we, You have saved.

4 VERSE 4 You're near me, Lord Jesus, You've promised to stay Close by me forever, Your love will not fade.
