1. Hymn 92 I Hate the Thoughts of Vanity

2. Verse 1 I hate the thoughts of vanity but I do love Thy law.

3. Thou art my shield and hiding place; I on Thy word rely.

4. All ye who evildoers are, from me depart away;

5. Because the precepts of my God I purpose to obey.

6. Verse 2 Uphold and strengthen me according to Thy faithful word;

7. That I may live and of Thy hope, may never be ashamed.

8. O, hold me safe, and ever in Thy will let me delight;

9. That for the statutes of my God I may have deep respect.

10. Last Verse My God will set at naught all those who from His precepts stray;

11. For their own lies are all in vain, and they themselves deceive.

12. For all the wicked of the earth are counted but as dross;

13. And therefore do I love Thy law and testimonies pure.
