2. Line Graphs  A line graph is a style of chart that is created by connecting a series of data points together with a line.

3. Pie Graphs  While the pie graph is the most frequently used statistical chart, it is rarely used in scientific or technical publications.  Pie charts work particularly well when the slices represent 25 or 50% of the data.

4. Bar Graphs  A bar graph is a chart with rectangular bars with lengths proportional to the values that they represent.  Bar charts are used for comparing values that were taken over time or under different conditions, usually used with a small data set.
