As we have already seen there is more than one system of temperature measurement.
There are occasions when we will need to convert one temperature to another.

3. Convert Celsius to Kelvin
0 degrees Celsius is equal to degrees Kelvin:
0 °C = K
The temperature T in Kelvin (K) is equal to the temperature T in degrees Celsius (°C) plus :
T(°C) = (T(°K) )
T(°K) = (T(°C) – )

4. Convert 20 degrees Celsius to Kelvin: T(K) = 20°C + 273.15 = 293.15 K
Example
Convert 20 degrees Celsius to Kelvin:
T(K) = 20°C = K
1. 45°C = ?°K
°K = ?°C
3. 35°C = ?°K
4. 0°K = ?°C

5. Convert Fahrenheit to Celsius
Deduct 32, then multiply by 5, then divide by 9.
E.g °F = ? °C
(67 – 32) x 5 9
(35) x 5
175 = °C
